Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Python/Java/Go
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform/AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in APAC/EMEA time zones during night shift
- Optimize microservices architecture for 99.99% uptime and low-latency performance
- Lead code reviews and architectural decisions for distributed systems
- Debug complex production issues using monitoring tools like Datadog/Prometheus
- Document technical specifications and contribute to engineering wikis
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in backend development with Python/Java/Go
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (8 PM - 4 AM PT)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
