Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Python/Java
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable cloud-native solutions
- Lead code reviews and optimize system architecture for 24/7 operations
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and implement robust monitoring protocols
- Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge repositories
- Mentor junior engineers during shift handovers
- Participate in agile ceremonies during core business hours
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with night shift or remote work background
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong written communication for async collaboration across time zones
