Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications designed for 24/7 high-availability environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features with a focus on security and performance.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
- Identify and resolve technical debt and bottlenecks in existing systems to ensure system stability during night cycles.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure zero downtime for critical services.
- Write comprehensive documentation for APIs, architecture, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of working in Night Shift or rotating shift environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
