Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software code for our core platform using Java, Python, and Go.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks occurring during night cycles.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless deployment of code releases and infrastructure changes.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics to proactively identify potential failures.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural planning sessions for long-term system stability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience with Night Shift availability and the ability to adapt to non-traditional working hours.
- Strong proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
