Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain low-latency trading algorithms and backend microservices.
- Optimize database performance and data pipelines for high-frequency data ingestion.
- Ensure 99.99% system uptime and stability during critical overnight trading sessions.
- Implement rigorous security protocols to protect sensitive financial data and assets.
- Collaborate with Quantitative Analysts to translate market models into executable code.
- Debug and resolve complex system issues in real-time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or Java with a focus on performance.
- Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Experience with distributed systems (Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ) and message queues.
- Familiarity with financial markets, specifically equity options, is a distinct advantage.
