Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions in accordance with architectural standards.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues in legacy and new codebases during off-peak hours.
- Implement and monitor automated deployment pipelines to ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- Collaborate asynchronously with cross-functional teams during overlapping shifts for sprint planning and code reviews.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot backend latency issues.
- Conduct code audits and ensure adherence to security and compliance protocols.
- Document technical architecture and troubleshooting procedures for the night shift team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3-5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (SQL & NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in written and verbal formats.
- Must be willing and able to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM or similar).
