Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native microservices using Java/Python/Kubernetes
- Optimize system performance and scalability for 24/7 production environments
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and internal innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Java, Python, or Go with distributed systems experience
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade code
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working night shifts (9 PM - 6 AM EST)
