Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-availability microservices using cloud-native technologies
- Optimize system performance through continuous monitoring and iterative improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production systems
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Contribute to open-source projects and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Python, Go, Java, etc.)
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization
- Proven experience with distributed systems and API development
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (11 PM - 7 AM MST)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design capabilities
