Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance backend services using Go and Python
- Implement cloud-native solutions on AWS with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Collaborate with global teams using agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Maintain and enhance microservices architecture with event-driven patterns
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers during shift overlaps
- Contribute to DevOps automation using Ansible and Docker
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Expertise in distributed systems and RESTful API design
- Strong proficiency in Go, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code
- Proven ability to work independently in remote/distributed teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design capabilities
- Previous night shift or flexible schedule experience preferred
