Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java, Python, and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 24/7 production environments
- Mentor cross-functional teams on agile methodologies and DevOps best practices
- Conduct code reviews and enforce security standards across distributed systems
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Debug and resolve critical production issues during night shift coverage
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong foundation in data structures and algorithm design
- Proficiency in at least one JVM language (Java/Scala) and one scripting language
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Ability to work independently during night hours with minimal supervision
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
