Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java/Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for deployment efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on agile development cycles
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement robust solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with distributed systems and microservices
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar backend languages
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and DevOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
