Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java/Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 24/7 system reliability
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers during night rotations
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for deployment efficiency
- Collaborate with global teams across time zones using Agile methodologies
- Resolve critical production issues during night shift coverage
- Contribute to architectural decisions for next-gen SaaS platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Java/Python/Go)
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
