Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java, Python, and Node.js
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for high-traffic fintech applications
- Optimize database performance in PostgreSQL and MongoDB environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline improvements
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers during off-hours
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement proactive monitoring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of backend development with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python with Spring Boot framework
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code
- Proven track record of deploying scalable fintech applications
- Comfortable working independently during night shift hours
- Excellent problem-solving skills with debugging complex systems
