Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize database performance through SQL query tuning and NoSQL implementations
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS services (Lambda, ECS) and Docker
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for code quality and security
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement robust monitoring solutions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional experience with Java and Spring ecosystem
- Expertise in RESTful API development and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control (Git)
