Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software architectures for our real-time equity options trading engine.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to model complex option pricing derivatives and risk management scenarios.
- Optimize database queries and backend services to support high-frequency data ingestion and processing.
- Implement robust security protocols to protect sensitive financial data and user assets.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure system uptime and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on financial technology or high-volume systems.
- Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Go.
- Experience working with distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Understanding of financial markets, specifically equity options, derivatives, or algorithmic trading is highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
