Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test scalable software solutions for our proprietary equity management platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Design) to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Maintain and optimize existing codebases to ensure high performance, security, and reliability of our trading systems.
- Implement robust data pipelines for processing stock options and equity compensation data.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js/React) or Python with a deep understanding of backend development.
- Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and equity options is a significant plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
