Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ trading engines optimized for Equity Options market data.
- Risk Management: Develop robust risk management systems to monitor and control exposure across complex option strategies.
- Algorithm Development: Implement and optimize execution algorithms to capture market inefficiencies in real-time.
- Data Engineering: Build data pipelines to ingest and process vast amounts of market data for pricing models and analysis.
- Debugging & Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in code and infrastructure to reduce latency and improve throughput.
- Collaboration: Work closely with quantitative researchers and traders to translate mathematical models into production code.
Qualifications
- Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in high-frequency trading or financial technology.
- Languages: Strong proficiency in C++ (required) and Python (desired).
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial derivatives, specifically Equity Options (Call/Put, Greeks, Exotic Options).
- Tools: Experience with Linux environments, SQL databases, and version control systems (Git).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
