Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency software for Equity Options pricing and execution engines.
- Optimize existing codebases to reduce latency and improve throughput for real-time market data ingestion.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to translate complex financial models into efficient C++ and Python code.
- Monitor system health and stability during critical trading hours, implementing proactive maintenance and debugging.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal security protocols regarding market data handling.
- Participate in the architecture and deployment of new features for our proprietary trading infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, specifically within high-frequency trading, finance, or high-load systems.
- Strong proficiency in C++ (ideally C++17/20) and Python.
- Deep understanding of financial derivatives, specifically Equity Options (calls, puts, Greeks, volatility surfaces).
- Experience with FIX protocol, market data feeds (ITCH, FAST), and order management systems.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, multithreading, and memory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a Night Shift environment (varies based on market hours).
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
