Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize low-latency trading algorithms and risk management engines for equity options derivatives.
- Implement robust message-passing frameworks to handle high-throughput market data feeds (e.g., FIX, CME).
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and unit testing to ensure system reliability under peak load.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate complex mathematical models into production-ready code.
- Maintain and refactor legacy codebases to improve scalability and performance.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture design to deployment.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong proficiency in C++ (C++17/20) and Python for scripting and automation.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, specifically equity options and derivatives pricing models.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and non-blocking I/O (e.g., libuv, Boost.Asio).
- Familiarity with Linux environments, shell scripting, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with high-availability distributed systems and database technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis).
