Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading systems for Equity Options and derivatives.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to translate complex mathematical models into executable code.
- Optimize existing codebases to reduce latency and increase throughput under high-load conditions.
- Implement and enforce rigorous testing and deployment strategies (CI/CD pipelines) to ensure system stability.
- Participate in architectural discussions to define the technical roadmap for our trading platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software engineering, with a focus on low-latency systems or high-frequency trading environments.
- Strong proficiency in languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, and memory management.
- Experience with financial markets, specifically options pricing models or derivative instruments, is a strong plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
