Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and maintain code for equity options trading platforms.
- Assist in debugging and optimizing financial algorithms under direct mentorship.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and agile sprint planning within a remote-first culture.
- Conduct research on market data APIs and assist in data visualization tasks.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Python or C++.
- Support the QA team in testing trading models and identifying edge cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Finance (or equivalent experience).
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Python, C++, or Java (bootcamp graduates and self-taught developers are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of financial concepts or a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
- Self-motivated with a drive to excel in a fast-paced technical environment.
