Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead API development and integration with third-party payment gateways
- Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies for AWS RDS
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API design
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Experience with SQL databases and ORM frameworks
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, and containerization technologies
- Proven problem-solving skills with complex system architectures
