Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Python and AWS
- Develop RESTful APIs with 99.9% uptime SLA for financial transactions
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) handling 10K+ TPS
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Document technical specifications in Confluence
- Debug and resolve production issues within 4-hour SLA
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development
- Expertise in Java, Python, or Go with cloud deployment
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and APIs
- Experience with financial data security (PCI DSS)
- Proficient in CI/CD tools and containerization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Portfolio with 3+ production-level projects
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
