Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Java/Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IoT solutions
- Optimize algorithms for real-time data processing
- Write clean, testable code following CI/CD best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in at least one JVM language (Java/Kotlin)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating full-cycle project delivery
- Detroit metro area residency preferred
