Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and Python
- Optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for high-traffic payment processing
- Lead daily stand-ups and sprint planning ceremonies
- Write unit tests with Jest and Cypress for 95%+ code coverage
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming
- Deploy CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Terraform
- Debug and resolve critical production issues within SLAs
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
- Expertise in AWS (Lambda, EC2, RDS) and serverless architectures
- Strong background in microservices and event-driven design
- Proven track record with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal)
- Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
