Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Log and track all help desk tickets in our ticketing system to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Install and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS) and essential business applications.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new security protocols and IT policies.
- Conduct basic user training sessions to improve software literacy across the organization.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues logically.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for critical system outages.
