Responsibilities
- Architect responsive web applications using React, Vue.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Optimize frontend performance with Webpack, Vite, and progressive web app techniques
- Implement robust API integrations with RESTful and GraphQL endpoints
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers in our cross-functional pods
- Translate UX designs into pixel-perfect interfaces using Tailwind CSS and SASS
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Docker
- Conduct A/B testing and implement data-driven optimization strategies
- Contribute to open-source projects relevant to New Orleans' tech ecosystem
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional web development experience with React/Vue.js
- Expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and responsive design
- Portfolio demonstrating complex web applications with performance metrics
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD workflows
- Experience with server-side rendering (Next.js/Nuxt) and headless CMS
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and SEO best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with scalable architecture design
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
