Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth user research, interviews, and usability testing to discover user needs and pain points.
- Design wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard tools like Figma and Adobe XD.
- Create and maintain a consistent design system to ensure visual consistency across all products.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define and refine product features.
- Present design concepts and rationale to the wider team, gathering feedback and iterating rapidly.
- Optimize existing user interfaces to improve performance and accessibility (WCAG standards).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a SaaS or e-commerce environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and prototyping software.
- Experience conducting user research and analyzing data to drive design decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design choices.
