Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and handoff.
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to validate design decisions and uncover user insights.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to translate business goals into seamless user journeys.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Advocate for accessibility (WCAG standards) and inclusive design practices in all projects.
- Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional UX/UI design experience, preferably in a fast-paced tech startup or agency environment.
- A strong, portfolio-driven portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.
- Expert proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale to non-design stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first or hybrid environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
