Responsibilities
- Lead user research, persona development, and journey mapping to inform design strategy
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups for web/mobile applications
- Conduct usability testing and iterate based on quantitative/qualitative feedback
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure design feasibility and implementation
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and advocate for user-centered design principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field (5+ years experience acceptable)
- 3+ years of UX design experience with portfolio showcasing complex digital products
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), and responsive design
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, A/B testing)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating measurable impact on user engagement/business metrics
