Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes including research, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing
- Develop design systems and component libraries ensuring consistency across maritime software platforms
- Conduct user research sessions and usability studies with coastal stakeholders
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces
- Create compelling design documentation and present solutions to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior designers and champion user-centered design principles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX design experience with SaaS or maritime technology products
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving for B2B applications
- Proficiency in user research methodologies and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field
- Certification in UX Research or Interaction Design preferred
- Experience with responsive web and mobile app design
