Responsibilities
- Lead user research initiatives including interviews, surveys, and usability testing to uncover user needs
- Design intuitive interfaces and comprehensive design systems for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement design solutions
- Create user journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Conduct A/B testing and data analysis to optimize user experiences
- Mentor junior designers and champion design best practices
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and executive leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience with portfolio demonstrating complex systems
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of design systems and component libraries
- Experience with user research methodologies and data-driven design
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
- Portfolio showcasing end-to-end design process and problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design rationale
- Experience in fintech or SaaS industries preferred
