Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Oversee network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard sensitive data.
- Execute routine system patches, updates, and performance tuning to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical hardware and software anomalies, minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and streamline IT workflows.
- Manage user access controls, identity management, and helpdesk support initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Valid certification such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Solutions Architect.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a Security+ certification within 6 months of hire.
