Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux, Azure).
- Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and antivirus solutions to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) to improve efficiency.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory services within a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and Network Engineering, to optimize system architecture.
- Conduct regular system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery testing.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in managing Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is highly preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
