Responsibilities
- Server & Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Active Directory & Security: Oversee Active Directory architecture, user management, and implement robust security protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Windows & Linux Administration: Manage Windows Server and Linux distributions, applying patches, updates, and configurations to maintain system stability.
- Cloud Solutions: Spearhead migrations and management of cloud resources, primarily within Azure and AWS environments.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to minimize downtime during critical incidents.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior administrators and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with business goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role in a professional IT environment.
- Operating Systems: Deep technical expertise in Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Cloud Proficiency: Proven experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure or AWS, including IaaS and PaaS services.
- Certifications: Active certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, or VCP preferred.
- Scripting: Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and efficiency.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
