Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage and optimize Azure and AWS cloud environments to ensure cost-efficiency and scalability.
- Implement and monitor security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Design and maintain network infrastructure, including VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Python or Bash to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to prevent downtime.
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical hardware and software issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration or DevOps Engineering.
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or MCSE are highly preferred.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
