Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux enterprise environments
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including VM provisioning and cost optimization
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix
- Implement disaster recovery solutions and backup strategies
- Lead security audits and vulnerability remediation efforts
- Document IT processes and maintain knowledge base
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking and firewalls
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Strong problem-solving skills with 24/7 on-call rotation
