Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust server infrastructure including Windows Server and Linux environments
- Oversee cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking solutions
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restores
- Document IT infrastructure and create technical procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019) and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with network protocols, security best practices, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell scripting)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to document complex technical concepts
