Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid deployment strategies.
- Oversee network security, including firewall configuration, intrusion detection, and SIEM monitoring.
- Automate deployment pipelines and system maintenance tasks using scripting languages (Python/Bash/Ansible).
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline software delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and troubleshooting for critical server and storage issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in System Administration or IT Engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN).
- Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), CompTIA Security+, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
