Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level systems including Windows Server, Linux, and hybrid cloud environments
- Lead security initiatives, vulnerability assessments, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Optimize system performance through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and automation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Manage disaster recovery plans and business continuity protocols
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex infrastructure issues
- Mentor junior administrators and document technical procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewalls
- Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-tiered systems under pressure
