Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize on-premise Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
- Automate deployment pipelines and infrastructure management using Python, Bash, and Ansible.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues, minimizing downtime and service disruption.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless application delivery.
- Conduct regular system audits, backups, and disaster recovery planning to safeguard company data.
- Lead technical troubleshooting for network connectivity and storage infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
- Deep expertise in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server management.
- Strong working knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as RHCE, CompTIA Security+, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are highly preferred.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a significant plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
