Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain on-premise servers (Linux/Windows) and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Automation: Develop and maintain Bash/Python scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Network Administration: Troubleshoot network issues, configure firewalls, and manage VPN connections.
- System Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Datadog) to proactively identify and resolve system outages.
- Backup & Recovery: Oversee data backup strategies and lead disaster recovery planning and testing.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent IT certifications.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Scripting: Solid experience with scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) for automation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
