Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems
- Proactively monitor system health, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement automation solutions
- Manage security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Lead server migrations, capacity planning, and disaster recovery initiatives
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Document system architecture, processes, and runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of managing hybrid infrastructure and SaaS integrations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and documentation skills
- BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
