Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Linux/Windows).
- Configure and manage network devices including firewalls, switches, and routers to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and data protection laws.
- Provide Tier 3-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to increase efficiency.
- Oversee backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical business data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and VLAN configuration.
- Proficiency in managing cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware).
- CompTIA Security+ or higher certification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow) is a plus.
