Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Oversee network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and load balancers.
- Automate system administration tasks using Python, Bash, or Ansible.
- Enforce security policies and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
- Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime.
- Manage cloud resources on AWS or Azure, ensuring cost-efficiency and scalability.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and runbooks.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong expertise in managing Red Hat/CentOS Linux and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain a Security+ clearance or pass a background check.
