Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations of on-premise Windows Server environments and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Network Administration: Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls to safeguard sensitive data.
- Backup & Recovery: Develop and execute robust disaster recovery plans and regular data backups to prevent data loss.
- User Support & Access: Manage Active Directory, user provisioning, and provide Level 3 technical support to internal staff.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine system patching, updates, and hardware upgrades to maintain optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in System Administration, with a strong focus on Windows Server and Linux.
- Certifications: Active certification in Microsoft (MCSE), CompTIA Server+, or AWS Cloud Practitioner is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
