Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server hardware and software, including Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Implement and monitor network security measures, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for internal employees and critical business systems.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and ensure disaster recovery plans are current.
- Configure and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware).
- Monitor system performance and generate detailed reports to optimize IT efficiency.
- Collaborate with developers and network engineers to ensure seamless application deployment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSI Model).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Red Hat, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and remotely.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
