Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Administration: Manage and maintain servers, network infrastructure, and storage systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Security Implementation: Enforce security policies, perform vulnerability assessments, and manage firewalls to protect sensitive data.
- Cloud Management: Oversee cloud migration strategies and manage AWS or Azure environments alongside on-premise hardware.
- User Support & Training: Provide Tier 2 technical support to end-users and conduct IT training sessions.
- System Optimization: Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and implement patches and updates to optimize system efficiency.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and test disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime during critical incidents.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Active Directory: Deep understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management.
- Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
