Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain on-premise servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and enforce IT security protocols, firewalls, and access controls.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new applications and services.
- Develop and maintain documentation for network topology and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery planning exercises.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior system administrators.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments (Red Hat, CentOS).
- Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is a plus.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or MCSA are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
