Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux).
- Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and implement robust security policies.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues, and resolve critical incidents.
- Execute regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and maintain applications.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), and Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification is a plus.
